Blaire Postman is a high energy, down-the-rabbit-hole stand-up comedian with no chill. Her unexpected material includes tales of living with recovering alcoholics and the history of Super Bowl half time shows.
She has been an officially selected performer at the San Francisco Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival, 208 Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, Bird City Comedy Festival, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival (Austin), North Carolina Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, SheDot Comedy Festival (Toronto) among other super fun ones.
She's featured for amazing headliners including Arsenio Hall, Erin Foley, Asif Ali, Mary Mack & Tim Harmston, Eddie Ifft, Janelle James, Laura Kightlinger, Aparna Nancherla, Emo Philips, Moshe Kasher, Allen Strickland Williams, Ben Roy, Sara Schaefer, Jenny Zigrino, Andy Hendrickson and Joe Zimmerman, among others.
Blaire has featured, hosted and/or showcased at wonderful venues including clubs & established alt rooms around the east coast & south including Goodnight's (Raleigh), The Comedy Attic (Bloomington), Dead Crow (Wilmington, NC), The Grey Eagle (Asheville), The Cary Theater (Cary, NC), DC Comedy Loft, DC Improv, Star City Comedy (Roanoke, VA), Richmond Funny Bone, Comedy Cabana (Myrtle Beach), Gregory's (Cocoa Beach); as well as Broadway Comedy Club & Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and Side Pony Tail, Lap Dance Saloon and other respected showcases in Brooklyn and Queens.
She is also producer & co host of My Fantasy Wife, the weekly sports meets comedy meets pop culture podcast, now in its fourth year; Through her production arm, HeelsComedy, Blaire is producer & co-host of two on-going shows in DC: "HEELS" (good jokes about bad people) & "SUCK IT!" (The Comedy Trivia Game Show); has appeared on podcasts including Eric Foley's Sports Without Balls; and her written work has been featured in WICF Daily.
Originally from a small New Jersey suburb just north of NYC, Blaire lived much of her adult life in Washington, DC, with a couple stints in NYC & Chicago mixed in.
However, she didn't start stand-up in earnest until she moved to the small beach-side city of Wilmington, NC, and is now again based in DC.
